Introducing L.E.A.R.N: A Groundbreaking Partnership for Land Surveyors

We’re thrilled to announce a dynamic collaboration between Land Surveyors United and the NSPS (National Society of Professional Surveyors) to launch L.E.A.R.N. – the Land Surveyors Educational Advancement and Resource Network. This partnership is more than just an initiative; it’s a movement designed to empower professional land surveyors, bridge generational and expertise gaps, and ensure that vital knowledge is shared and preserved.

Here’s How It Works:

1. From Expert to Educator:
   If you're an experienced land surveyor, you have the opportunity to write a Continuing Education (CE) course tailored to your state’s requirements for PDH credit. This course isn’t just a way to share your expertise – it’s a chance to create a lasting legacy.
   With all the tools and support you need to create a top-notch course, you’ll also earn royalties every time it’s purchased – even after retirement and for up to a year after your passing.

2. Submission and Hosting:
   Once your course is ready, it’s submitted to the NSPS Education Committee via Land Surveyors United. After review and acceptance, your course is hosted in the L.E.A.R.N Hub inside our community, making it accessible for other surveyors to enroll.
   As an instructor, you’ll also have the opportunity to teach a live version of your course in our Virtual Classroom, connecting directly with surveyors in your state.

3. Expanding Your Reach:
   But it doesn’t stop there! The NSPS will share your course with the remaining 49 states for review. If your course meets another state’s guidelines, you’ll be notified of acceptance or advised on any necessary tweaks.
   Every time your course is approved in a new state, you can schedule additional classes, effectively growing your audience across the country. With this model, instructors can deliver their course 50 times or more, reaching a broad and diverse student body.
